WEDDING

The question

While enjoying Thanksgiving at Krissy's brother and sister-in-law's house, John surprised her by proposing in front of her whole family! 

 

After dinner, Krissy was pulling up progress photos of their house in Cortlandt Manor, Westchester, to show her family. John requested that she put the ipad down and before she knew what was happening John was down on one knee and had popped the question! With all the commotion, Krissy didn't even hear him and when her brother told her to 'say yes,' she responded that 'no question was asked yet.' In typical John fashion he replied, 'I said it, I said it already. Will you MARRY ME?!' Speechless, Krissy nodded her head yes in excitement :) and the whole family cheered! 

 

It was such a pleasure to have family surrounding us during our special moment. Especially because Krissy's brother's house was originally her Grandparent's home for over 50 years. A lot of happy memories had already taken place there, making our engagement that much more meaningful to us.
