ATTRACTIONS

There is plenty to do in the beautiful Hudson Valley region such as hiking, museums & antiquing! We've listed just a few of our favorite sites and activities to assist in making the most of your weekend!

The Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts At Bard College

For our architecture enthusiasts folk make some time to visit Frank Gehyr's performing arts center at Bard College. The center offers an architecturally bold and dynamic environment for innovative artistic presentation in the Hudson Valley. It provides audiences with a world-class complex that inspires risk-taking performances and provocative programs in orchestral, chamber, and jazz music and theater, dance, and opera by American and international artists.

OMI International Arts Center

Omi International Arts Center is a not-for-profit arts organization with residency programs for international visual artists, writers, translators, musicians, and dancers. Omi seeks to foster an environment of creative exploration and exchange, professional opportunity and exposure, and a stylistically and culturally diverse community for creative artists from around the world.

Antiques In Hudson

One of our favorite things to do is stroll the streets of Hudson going in and out of all the fantastic antique shops. Whether we are looking to buy or just browse, it is our favorite pass time and we highly suggest that you make time to explore this unique and beautiful turn of the century historical town.

Hiking in the Catskills

We love hiking! And if you do too we suggest that you wake up early one morning and adventure to the Catskills to enjoy a breathtaking view. Early October is the best time of the year to enjoy the majestic scenery. A few of our favorite hikes that we suggest are the Kaaterskill falls, North/South Lake and if you're really feeling like burning some calories then the Hunter Mountain Loop.
